Not my day

When I arrived at the field today it was slightly overcast with a fresh North Westerly wind. Didn't look good for thermals.
Then I found I had left my bungee at home. I walked down into the valley a short way to see if there was any slope lift. There wasn't. There were about ten zillion blackjacks though. My jacket collected most of them.

Nara Tantemsapya

On Saturday we had a visitor -- Nara from Launceston in Tasmania. That's him in the middle, a long way from home and surrounded by the less savory members of JOMAC. What a pity he didn't meet more respectable people. (But come to think of it, are there any respectable people at JOMAC?).
He's clearly a keen aeromodeller, He was at the field with Juan at 0530 in the morning.
