In memoriam Andre van Rensburg †

Friends,

sadly I share with you the passing of our friend and flying buddy Andre van Rensburg. Andre flew mostly on Saturday mornings and was always friendly and helpful - even after one of many of his famous less successful "landings".

An unsuccessful video experiment

Today I tried to capture airborne aerotow video from the glider tug. For whatever reason I failed. 

Plan B next week.

All I have is an aerial shot of the field from the camera on my Gentle Lady.

Not very smooth flying, I wonder who the pilot was.

PSS weekend at Volksrust

When we were there the the wind was too light for anything but the electrics. As you can see though the atmosphere was festive.

Paul Carnall organized the event. He did such a good job that he'll have to do it again next year.
