On Sunday morning the road was passable with care by ordinary cars -- washed away at some points and slippery at others.

"hi John , Grant , the foreman , took this photos of Francois and myself trying to stop the river of water flowing over the runway at 06h30 on Saturday morning .

It was quite clear that we are not 20 years old any more and not as fit as thought we were!!
